Pricing Information Page
Our Pricing Transparency Policy
At Broad Street Solicitors, we are committed to being open and transparent about our fees from the outset. As required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) from 6th December 2018, we publish pricing information for certain legal services so that you can make informed choices about your legal representation.
We understand that cost is an important consideration when instructing a solicitor. That’s why we aim to provide clear, upfront information about how we charge, what you can expect to pay, and what our fees include. Wherever possible, we offer fixed fees so you know exactly what you’re committing to—no hidden costs, no surprises.
Charges and Expenses
Our fees are generally calculated based on the time we spend working on your case. This may include:
- Meetings and consultations with you or other parties
- Travel time (if applicable)
- Reviewing and preparing documents
- Correspondence by phone, email, or letter
- Court preparation and attendance
In some matters, additional costs such as court fees, expert reports, interpreters, or third-party services may apply. We will always discuss these with you in advance and obtain your approval before incurring any disbursements on your behalf.
Hourly Rates
Our standard hourly rates (exclusive of VAT) unless otherwise agreed are as follows:
- Principal Solicitor – £350 + VAT
- Senior Solicitors – £350 + VAT
- Associate Solicitors – £250 + VAT
- Trainee Solicitors – £200 + VAT
- Other Fee Earners – By agreement
We will always confirm the applicable rate in your client care letter at the start of your matter.
